Crackpots has recently been extended, re-furbished and now includes a patio area in our own private garden area, for those relaxing, sunny days to eat 'al fresco'.
The atmosphere is light and airy and the ceramics on view are made by the owner Carole Norman. These are displayed around the walls together with some interesting art work. This ties in nicely with the newly opened Art Gallery above the restaurant, where local, as well as international artists exhibit throughout the year.
The ambience of the main restaurant area has a rustic French feel and many of the exciting dishes enhance the dining experience, there is also an extensive selection of wines to suit every ones budget.
The restaurant nestles in the heart of Kinsale. Being a sea-faring port, some of the dishes that have been created by Head Chef Sean Williams with seafood in mind, lobsters, oysters and crab can be found regularly on the menu, together with various other local seasonal meat and vegetarian creations
